Inspire action. Build on existing strengths. Engage.
Education and community programs, like yours, are perfect settings for helping young people celebrate and explore their natural talents—talents which are not obvious in school or at home. I have found, in my research, that education unknowingly sets traps, and especially for students whose innate gifts are at odds with conventional teaching and learning. These hidden gifts often lie in right-brain, non-linear thinking and in strong oral and collaborative communication—the very skill sets that are highly sought in “the real world” today!
My work in positive change helps communities draw on local strengths to create the best life opportunities for all youth. Together, we use this inpsiring process to engage students and those who care about them in positive conversations that create a roadmap to reach your community’s desired vision. The result empowers teens to develop the best within them and sets every child on a path to thrive in life.
“We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing at whatever cost, must be attained.” – Marie Curie
